So many great tips, as when I checked there indeed was a light left on in the trailer "basement" and I didn't realize to expect my batteries to come back discharged from the service dept, but now I know that is common place.
Trailer was plugged in all night, all in all it took about 15 hours to recharge the 2 deep cycle 6 volt batteries but they are charged now and the converter fan isn't running anymore either.

RV Technicians nowadays have to unzip their trousers to gain the ability to count past ten. Some of the most ludicrous mistakes I have ever encountered were caused by "RV Techies". So my recommendation is to go over a rig with a fine tooth comb. Laugh-on. I've seen rigs that had a mix up in service orders and $300 spent on a perfectly good converter when the correct complaint was for a pulsing water-pump. I remain amazed...
