The Carny Barker says his one special battery is as good as two for "usable AH" where you can go down to near zero on the one but are limited to 50% on the two ordinary batteries. So you compare 100% with two 50s=100 and they say it is the same (so you shouldn't mind paying twice as much for that one special battery :) )
Mr Wiz used realistic 20% SOC on the special for 80AH and 60% SOC for the two ordinary batts, also 80AH.
So that makes it look like the Carny Barker is right. However, the trick is that the draw for the special batt is 5 amps in that 80AH, while the draw is 10 amps for the other 80AH.
They do not have the same running times at 5 amps because of Puekert. It looks like you get way more time at 5 amps with the 200AH bank. So the Carny Barker uses "usable AH" as his smoke and mirrors speel.
It does not mean the special battery is no better than the others; it has other advantages that make it better for some jobs. ( I just bought one SiO2, eg) but IMO the "usable AH" claim is bogus.
I am not clear on just how much more time you get and then if you can revert to the 20hr rate for remaining capacity when you stop the 5 amp draw. I might be able to test for that with my set-up in the MH having Wet 6s, an hydrometer, and the Trimetric for amps.
