Make sure you leave rest periods with your tests or you will get distorted results. As previously mentioned, batteries will recover if allowed to rest. This is particularly important for higher draws and a similar effect occurs when charging.
An example of this is did you ever run a car starting battery down to where it wouldn't turn over the motor...then leave it sit for a few minutes and it could turn over the motor...That's the Peukurt effect recovery.
