Running a Norcold 323 in more than one mode at a time is impossible since the selector switch is rotary between GAS, 120 vac, and 12 vdc. The Dometic RM2193 uses a different switch system so it IS possible to turn on more than one mode at a time BUT Dometic advises against this. From Page 8 of the Dometic RM2193 owner's manual -
"DO NOT attempt to operate the refrigerator by both gas and electricity at the same time. Always ensure that one method of operation is turned off before using the alternate energy source."
If the OP has run his fridge on more than one energy source at the same time (as he suggested might be the case in his original post) he may have damaged the fridge. It pays to read the owner's manual first. ;)
