In regards to your original question. It appears that "pianotuna" has answered that. On the other hand, keep in mind, the chart is in respect to a battery that is at full charge, and is measuring a percentage of "available" charge at particular temperatures.
Other possibilities to your scenario :
#1 - It appears you were in the third day of camping already.:B
#2 - Your batteries were not fully charged in the beginning.:@
#3 - The batteries are mismatched & only as good as the weakest one.:E
#4 - How many times & hours had you run the Yamaha :@
#5 - Misconception, when we run our generators for 3-4 hours, we think the batteries are back to 100%, they aren't. we are only putting some amps back into an already depleted battery & chances are we've been using more than we are putting back each cycle.:S
#6 - The coach battery monitor system is not reliable. If nothing else, use a multimeter to measure battery condition.:h (chart attached)
#7 - Does your converter have 3-4 stage charging? Even if it does, in my opinion, & since your batteries were apparently at or near "low voltage", it would need several hours of charging without load at "optimum ambient temperature" with a "at rest" period, or the use of a Load Tester to eliminate surface charge, then start the charging process once more & bring them back to capacity. :E

1. Hehe, yeah.
2. Well, I had driven them from camping near Big Bear at Heart Bar and drove for several hours charging the batts, then hooking up till about ten the next morning to 30 amps. So maybe.
3. I don't think so. I tried to get batteries with the exact same numbers, if I remember correctly. But, it's not impossible.
4. I ran one of my gennies for, oh man, at least six hours. On the cold day, I sheltered it with a plastic box that kept it perfectly dry in the no wind conditions, and ran that gennie for over 10 hours. Well, maybe a bit less, as I fueled it up once.
5. I don't know the specifics, but I was aware that a long charging time was disirable. And we had charging power for my hot spot, microwave, TV, etc. Nice way to be snowed in.
6. Check
7. I don't know the exact specs, but I was lead to believe all the on board gear was the latest and greatest. At rest period? What is this?
Thank you for your help in this.
