If you don't want to do it like pnichols does, don't. A newby that can't find that generator has many choices that will provide the same results. The fact that it did work for him had me looking at that generator when I saw it on CL until I realized that like it's big brother, the EU3000is, altitude would take too much out of it to be useful. Should I ever need a small quiet generator for charging, it will be a $400 Champion 2000i.
It would be about the same as invalidating my system because I can get the panels for $50 and others can't. Others have paid a normal price for their panels and used the same controller I do for the same results.
Again we all have our own systems that work well for us, if they didn't we would change them. It doesn't matter why it wont work for someone else, only why it does work for each user.
