Battery light on dashboard will not go off.

Does anyone know why my dashboard battery light remains on when coach is started and remains on when shut off. It is on permanently and not sure if wire problem or possible alternator problem. Any ideas as I'm inexperienced at this. Thx.

    Depending on what you are driving and the year, certain manufacturers started putting a "charging system sensor" that is usually on the positive cable coming off the battery. If you KNOW your system is good then more than likely it is the sensor. If you have questions about the health of your system, get it checked out.

    Charging issue.
    I would put a meter on the battery terminals to see what's going on.
