Trimetric would be my last choice.
Why?
I am looking at buying one very shortly, and am curious if your reasons would sway me away from it.
PT used to complain that Trimetric does not allow for Peukert, but Bogart has explained it doesn't need to for typical RV amp draws.
I ran some tests on that and posted the results a few years ago on that with my Tri, and it seems to be ok for that. The full Peukert effect only comes out if you go down to 10.5 volts at the high draw to get the reduced capacity. What happens when RVing is that you can use a high draw for a brief time and when that is over, the battery voltage "bounces back" and then you use a lower amp draw, and so on, so it averages out to near the "20 amp rate" for the day and your capacity is based on the 20 amp rate.
So don't worry about it. The Tri works ok. I have big issues with how they do "full" for the battery though. That means I think the % full indicator is bogus. Doesn't matter to me, I just use my own idea of "full", the AH counter, cross-check with voltage for reasonableness, and I get good value from my Tri. (2025 eight years old now)
All that Tri stuff it does about history etc is completely wasted on me too. Might be good for a stick house, but I can't see it for an RV where the RV is used intermittently.
