Battery Question
Does it hurt anything to plug into shore power with the battery disconnected? I have a travel trailer 30 amp system.

Depends on the inverter. Some supply clean power without a battery connected, others are extremely dirty and excessively high voltage since they are expecting a nice low impedance battery to be on its output. And if you get it wrong it's possible to lose smoke from some devices.
