Look into an inverter as others suggested, just knowing you need to have a way to put the power back into the batteries that you take out with the inverter. I use a small 350 watt PSW inverter just for low power devices like the TV, DVD, etc. I'm not interested in running the micro and AC off the inverter.
How you recharge is up to you. I use a Honda EU2000 to recharge my batteries and combined with the inverter, I've got the best of both worlds. Only regret is that I did not install the inverter 5 years ago.
