I have a Hydrovolt and have matched it up against my glass float that is a PITA to read because of the wicking along the glass float, AND the unavoidable friction of the float within the glass.
IMO the HydroVolt is way more accurate and more repeatable with the same numbers as the floater (best I can tell through its faults), and I can easily see a repeatable .001 rez on it.
Can't get more anal than that.. :)
