I have flooded batts on my TT and AGMs that I use for tenting. If the question is "flooded vs AGM", AGMs seem to offer a substantial performance upgrade. In particular, the concept of "rode hard and put away wet"--just try that with your flooded batts.
But the AGMs are more costly, and the Lifeline AGMs are some of the most expensive batteries made. For that reason the value proposition doesn't yet hold true for AGMs (IMO), unless ease of handling and installation factors comes into play, as they do for TCs and of course Tents.
So I still use Costco el cheapo flooded batts for my TT, and I use UPG el cheapo AGMs for tenting--and they're still 2-3 times the price.
