My thoughts exactly.
$2.90/AH for Trojan AGM is already expensive, but I don't think there is anything cheaper with decent quality (within AGM domain). My Chinese AGM by UPG/Panasonic are $1.80/AH, and I'm not too excited about them. Though, being 12V, I can carry 3 of them, i.e. 300 AH bank rather than 220 AH - important thing for solar dry-camping. Would've never bought AGM if my situation didn't require AGM.
