We've had Sears Diehard Platinum AGM marine batteries for a number of years for House batteries. They were made by Odyssey and are similar to the Odyssey AGM batteries. Both the platinum and Odyssey batteries are well regarded. The House batteries are doing great after 6 years.
The chassis regular flooded battery was getting up to 6.5 years so time to replace. Sears Platinum AGMs are no longer available. Ended up getting an X2power AGM from Batteries Plus which is similar to the Odyssey AGM. Apparently Odyssey engineers left and started a new company, Northstar. Northstar makes the X2power. More expensive than a Duracell which is also available at Batteries Plus but less than an Odyssey.
Wanted a chassis AGM for low self-discharge and long life. We plug phones to charge and sometimes an inverter into the cigarette lighter plug while dry camping.
