Battery voltage checking
Ok ,I have learned not to run a 12 volt battery below 12.1 to maximize lifespan. My question is : do you check voltage under load or at rest. Thanks,Mike

I like to keep checking my voltage to give myself a mental chart of how long it is lasting.
I actually ordered a voltmeter from China, and have it installed with a pushbutton to press and see what I am at.
Knowing the average days usage helps keep the long term plans in line with when to run the generator or charge from driving.
