Battery Watering Time

It's that time of year when I water the batts! Exciting! I do this annually. I was probably a month later than usual but no issue with that. Batts took almost a gallon and a half which is typical. What I hadn't noticed before was water usage on all the cells was even. I'm guessing this correlates to the even SG's I've been getting?? My hopes for next year are that I can go a little longer due to my lower summer float voltage.

  • I may be the odd one, but I check my batteries the first of each month. Add water as needed.
  • Wait a minute, the VRB crowd is coming with torches and pitchforks.

"Once a year? That's crazy, why I locked my !@# batteries in a compartment and haven't gone near them in seven years. Haven't got time. Need to cut the grass and wash the car again".
