Battery cutout switch remembers to cut all loads always without fail - 100.00% of the time. I had a jan -you-wine Shur Flo pump switch go bad on me back in the late seventies. The pump ran long enough to discharge an 8-D battery while pump and tank started out bone dry. The rocker switch fused in the ON position. A whole week had passed since I had purchased the Prowler 33' trailer. Surprise! The pump still worked the battery recharged and a genuine COLE HERSEE rocker switch replaced whatever garbage Shur Flo or Prowler had provided. Another notch on the fed-up pistol. It led to constructing Quicksilver. QS has a 750 amp frame rail lever switch.
