Not sure what's wrong, but had my TC for about 1.5 years now and seems I have a battery or inverter problem? I had my CO sensor beeping at me a few months ago camping and found my battery bad/dead (4 years old) when hooked to power, replaced it a few months ago and now have my CO sensor beeping at me again yesterday, again, power hooked up, lights dim, VDC 9.5 and can't work my slide or jacks.I recently bought a 2nd battery (not hooked up) and didn't hook it u for a spare in case I needed it. Well I used it yesterday to get my slide in and jacks up!Trying to figure out why a new battery is draining with AC hooked up? Could it be a short or a bad inverter???Here is my inverter. Any ideas or whys to test? I have a VOM.

That's a converter (charger), not an inverter.Often times they are connected to AC power with a cord plugged in to an outlet nearby. Check to be sure it's plugged in. Check to be sure the breaker feeding its outlet isn't tripped.

Your picture shows a charger and NOT an inverter which converts 12V DC to 120V AC. Does your charger have 120V on the input? Are there any CBs or fuses that are open? Any open cables or disconnects to the battery? If all OK then the battery voltage should be 13.4-14.8V depending upon the battery SOC. You should consider hiring a tech to find the problem.

Hook up a auto battery charger to charge the battery until the problem is resolved.

Did the PO add the remote pendant to the 9260?

If so you should play with it and understand how it works..

Got it figured out today since I finally had some dedicated time to work on it before beer30. Positive wire AND Negative both looked like this. Previous owner overshot the screw and tightened down on mostly jacket. Thanks for all of the ideas. Kinda wish I wouldn't have posted this thread in the first place now until I dug into it more, feel kinda silly. I was kinda beered up on the 4th when I posted.:) 13.3 volts hitting the batteries now. Thanks all....

Your post is true but not relevant since this is a truck camper.

As mentioned many times before, your trailer emergency brakes need a charged battery connected in order to stop your trailer if it becomes disconnected from your tow vehicle. Please remember to connect one of the batteries before you tow. This is a DOT regulation.

Thanks all for the responses, REALLY appreciate it, especially boatycalls offer.

We are heading out this morning to go camping and all is working well hooked to shore power and both batteries are charged and disconnected for now. The battery cables are marked positive and negative and am confident the polarity is proper.

We are not dry camping so I should be able to get by till I get home and dig into this issue better or maybe a little while camping. Unfortunately this problem arised during the 4th of July weekend while too busy with plans to really dig into and now out the door Monday morning.
