Purchased the 12117 a year ago when it was on sale at Northern. Been on 24/7. Keeps my two TT batteries charged.

Anybody familiar with how the desulfate mode works on this thing? Is it full-time, automatic, or does it desulfate when you press the front button?

Save your finger. 5 amps into a 100 amp hour battery until voltage rises to 15.0 is the effective desulfation.anything less is Tickle Me Elmo.
