Bedroom Air Conditioner . . . . Worth It??

All . . . . We are considering installing a bedroom air conditioner in our Cedar Creek. Is having a bedroom A/C worth the extra expense to have one put in? Does the front A/C make a real difference during the 90 degrees days? How often do you use your front A/C??

thanks for the input. . . .

Unless you are setup for 50MPS SERVICE you will probably run into a problem running both air conditioners at same time. My 30 AMP Trailer already kicks my main breaker occasionally when I I have the A/C on and lots of other items and kick on the high wattage Microwave...

If you are only using the 30AMP Service then if I was to hook up a second A/C unit I would wire it to an outside 120VAC receptacle and then plug it into the 20AMP SERVICE at the camp ground. Sometimes the camp grounds frown on folks using both the 30A and 20A service but we do it all time spreading out the power distribution when needed.

Also where I would be able to install the bedroom air conditioner would put it directly above our bed and I can now reach up and touch the ceiling. Don't think I would like having the A/C unit just above us when we are sleeping????

Other folks are using the portable installed air conditioners and venting the exhaust out the window. Might want to check into that as well...

Parking in the shade certainly helps us with our roof mounted air conditioner...
