Bedroom slide issue and possible cause

I perform regular maintenance on my rig. Last time i cleaned and lubed bedroom slider it wasn't too gummed up.
So I camped while on a fishing trip, first 4 days all is well, the next day slide would go out a foot or so and stop, past experience tells me the motor is shutting off on internal protector.
So what happened. Well when i got home and undid the bed platform i noticed a lot of dust/silt inside the screw area. i had been driving on silty roads in the Owens River area. Notice the holes cut for utilities access, well i covered those so hopefully i can alleviate part of the problem.
I use recommended slide lube, not oily dust collecting oils.
