The best way to reduce prices is to drive an electric vehicle when not in the RV.
Doing my part since 2011. Either be part of the solution or be part of the problem.

Electric vehicle replacement batteries at $6,000 and beyond (plus the adverse environmental waste consequences, and forced child labor mining of the cobalt in Africa)....Please elaborate more on the savings....
All legit concerns.
Very few have to actually replace the battery as in most cases they last the life of the car. Some EV cabs are north of 300,000 KM and still going strong. In the right enviroment they can be cost effective. More cab companies are switching to electric vehicles. They might be on to something. :) Having said all that some EV manufacturers have had some problems with their batteries in high heat environments. In most cases the warranty covered those replacements.
Enviromental waste issues? Not if it is recycled properly...you know...like all batteries.
Forced child labour. Yep. Not a good thing. About half the cobalt comes from problem areas. Work to be done there. Of course oil also has a colourful past. Oil wars and literally millions of dead civilians later...pot...kettle...black etc.
Savings. If you are spending 250 bucks a month on gas your EV is pretty much free if you count the savings from fuel and maintenance. And of course it is a great ride. :)
EV's don't work in all situations for everybody. But for some they work very well.
