I’ll give credit to Musk for a nicely engineered and sleek, smart vehicle, but reality is that his biggest achievement ever (whether cars, solar panels or rockets...) lies in his subtle creativity to tap into gov’t subsidies, but at the expense of other working taxpayers...Not a very sustainable business model, but as was the case with now defunct Solindra (et al...), empirical proof that pursuing ‘gov’t green’ really does have its day in the sun...
Life is not fair - in order to have a healthy economic system, the ‘free’ market place is the decider, and must rule - though not perfect, it is however self-correcting as well as innovation promoting, as losers (and abusers) are ultimatly rejected via unbridled competition...
