I do agree with the anti subsidy position mainly, but that's not how government works, nor did it ever. Partisans lobby for preferential treatment and get it. That's just human nature.
And to expect transportation to remain unchanged... a dream.
Fair statement but I don't see radical change in my lifetime, IOW, I will continue to operate a vehicle with an internal combustion engine for my tenure here.
