Sooooooo ..... our only other choice is to "let" folks have all the kids they want everywhere ..... and then somehow/someway struggle to science/technology/IQ our way around it decade after decade as we all struggle more and more in a gradually destroyed Earth? Or is WW 3, or WW 4, or WW ? the answer to get the population back to where it should be?
I don't buy into either of those scenarios above .... and neither should anyone else.
I'm not advocating taking kids away who are already here, of course. What I'm advocating is education and, especially, empowering of potential parents everywhere as to what the population bomb wiill mean to all of the kids that they think they want to have ... and what parents should do about it going forward.
Maybe a good watch of Soylent Green is in order for everyone ... especially the scene where tractors scoop up people on ultra-packed city streets.
Love that movie. Charles Hesston was good in it. I think Soylent Green should be a required watch for all young adults and some older ones as well.
Pretty nice end off for old folks...
