Best? Probably these (Rolls-Surrette - click 6V to get to those models).
Those might be the best, but there are many that are almost certainly good enough. Pretty much any 6V GC2 wet cell will do quite nicely if you take care of it. Keep it wet, don't over discharge, don't over charge.
