I always get me good laugh
When folks say "Well it's made in China"
Take a close look see at the components inside any of your favorite converters -"Made in China" appears on at least 75% of all the internal parts. Being assemblied in the US more than likely adds cost and no real value.
After repairing several dozen of the "Good" quality converters, I suggest you purchase at a place with the best deal and forget about warranty. They are simple and low cost to repair if you actually ever have a problem with them. Get one without a cooling fan, a mechanical device that will fail.
