Best to keep absorption fridge running or shut down

I have ac power available where I store the fiver. I keep the Dometic running all during camping season on ac power. Only shut it down when winterized. I know there are no moving parts but looking ...

I owned my Springdale for 8 years and it was plugged in with refrigerator on electric (almost) the entire time. When we traded the Springdale, the refrigerator was still registering -10 degrees in the freezer. So I don't think leaving them on hurts anything, and I don't think turning it off hurts anything off either.
