Best way to connect to Battery FL1 terminal

I'd use a ring terminal held on with a bolt and a flat washer/split lock washer/nut. The ring terminal and the battery terminal should be in contact, with no washer intervening, assuming a permanent attachment. For a battery charger or similar temporary connections, I see no reason why the usual alligator clamps would not be perfectly adequate.
