"Best" way to weather proof 12 volt elec connection

Any wisdom on the “best” way to weatherproof couple spade connections on 12 volt ? I’m replacing a 5 psi pressure switch that has a “Delphi PA66” connection with a 15 psi switch that only has spa...

I just use di-electric grease on exposed connections. I gob it on and connect. Been doing that on 110 volt tank heaters for our stock tanks for years now with never a weather related issue.
