"Best" way to weather proof 12 volt elec connection

Any wisdom on the “best” way to weatherproof couple spade connections on 12 volt ?

I’m replacing a 5 psi pressure switch that has a “Delphi PA66” connection with a 15 psi switch that only has spade connections.

Looking for suggestions that are better than mine. In the past I have used liquid elec tape or plastic “dip it” but wondering if there is something better. Switch is under vehicle and will be exposed to all weather and probably 14 or 16 gauge plastic coated wire.

Thanks
  • I don't know if you can get heat shrink tubing that large, otherwise a small project box with gromitted openings for the wire.
  • I just use di-electric grease on exposed connections. I gob it on and connect. Been doing that on 110 volt tank heaters for our stock tanks for years now with never a weather related issue.
