I bought a larger dry chemical Kidd to keep in the trailer and mounted it where the smaller one was next to the door. I put the small one under the truck seat.
I've got 3 small Halon extinguishers a camping buddy brought along on a camping/canoe trip once. They upgraded the fire system where he worked and they were from the old system. I was the last one to pull out of the camp ground and he had left them for anyone who wanted them. So now they are mine.
When camping two are in a storage box in the open bed of the truck. The other one is kept inside the trailer door while towing. When setting up I place the one inside the door outside next to the steps. I figure in the worst case cenario if it looks like a can still save the trailer, I'll pull the pins, tie the handles and toss them in through the door before closing it hopefully filling the trailer with Halon. Halon puts out fire by displacing oxygen, so I don't keep them in the trailer in case they ever leak.
