Better Honda eu2000i generator security?
While on Amazon, I noticed this product which has one bracket that secures to the bottom of the Honda eu2000i generator, another bracket that the generator sits in, which bolts to something like a cargo rack, and a hasp/hockey puck lock to marry the two.
Not sure how really secure this is, in the scheme of things, but it would definitely force a thief to do more work than just cutting the generator's handle. I'm sure using a handle bracket plus this will deter all but the most determined.
I've yet to see a single review on this, but it might be useful add-on. Of course, the chain as strong as its weakest link, and a lot of hitch mounted cargo racks are not made to securely take the base bracket of this lock.
