Battery is 18V DC and you want to jury-rig an extension cord with alligator clips that is plugged into a 110V AC.
NO!
You will let the magical smoke out of the battery-------and probably injure yourself or others near by when you plug it in.
The charger cord you lost plugged into 110V AC outlet but had a converter that changed the AC to DC low voltage.
(same thing the RV converter does....just on a smaller scale)
BUY a proper replacement charger like the one 'newman fulltimer' posted
