There seems to be multiple issues here. If you are on a 20amp circuit, spiked to 22 amp draw and the CB did not break, you have a serious issue in the CB. It is not protecting you as it should.
Second, if you leave that many things running on 20 amps, your volts will drop and your heat will grow in your devices. Damage is the minimum you can expect and fire is the worst.
The EMS shedding the WH and fridge sounds normal. They have gas as a backup and should be low priority.
20amps can only run 1 major appliance. Your EMS will not let 2 run so your probably only getting the fan on a 2nd AC. Or your EMS is not working right.
