Sorry for the GIGANTIC picture. I have my own web site & I post the PICS on it and then link from this web site.
I have a couple digital voltmeters but no attachment to measure the load. I do have a Killawatt but not sure if I should connect to the shore cord.
Let it be known that I do not run more than one AC when at the house. I watch my loads very carefully. As stated above I did have a 50 amp pedestal I installed out front when we where in the 93 Pace DP with 50 amp electrical. I even had the Pace power the house for three days after a NH storm knocked out the power lines with the help of some local pines!
Oh, the generator statement. Yes that 7.5 Quietdiesel is quiet but I did not have the Autostart on. When I was looking over the EMS panel it was still on the manually set 20amp. If the genset fires up the EMS resets & then the 50amp Generator light comes up.
I have some odd sticky clear "goop" on my Onan Energy Command 30 panel. I'm thinking it's possibly some adheasive that might have seeped out on a hot day. I currently have the panel , and soft touch buttons off. I'm going to try some goo-gone on her. Anybody else see this on your EC30 panel?
I picked this rig up in Texas on consignment. I went over the electrical with a fine tooth comb after driving back home from Texas. I think she saw some HOT days down south, no damage, just signs here & their.
Tested the EMS, popped open panels & checked for SECURE connections. Put all loads on with genset running & checked temps of breakers. A simple loose connection can get REAL HOT & do some damage. I found one such connection in the 50 amp relay panel in the Pace. I got to that one just in time.
The term "if it ant broke, don't touch it does not go for me. I have to check all systems. I was looking over the mechanical systems on the full slide & found some 12VDC lines getting chafed by the rear slide securing finger (when retracted). I pulled the splendede washer & ended up digging out about a pound of frekin lint from BOTH vent hoses and the rubber boot between the drum & backside. Man that sucker was packed with dry lint! While I had it out I replaced both hot & cold hoses.
