- ploiselleExplorerIt is not part of the converter, but OnaQuest you have may have hit the jackpot. It makes sense as the wire from the junction box goes toward that area.
We are in a Safari field dry camping, so I don't believe that the owner is going to pull it apart until he gets home tomorrow. If I do hear that it is behind the distribution panel I will post.
Thank you for every ones help.
Paul - OnaQuestExplorerBounder typically uses a main power panel (both AC and DC Distribution panel) with the transfer switch mounted on the back of the panel. Sometimes it's easier to trace the wires back from the main circuit breaker, to the transfer switch, than it is to trace the power cord to the switch.
- ploiselleExplorerThank you. We will take a look at the converter tomorrow.
- D_E_BishopExplorerWe have an older rig but ours is part of the converter, you might tryokig at the converter/charger.
- ploiselleExplorerThank you. The rear compartment on this Bounder has the generator. The wire comes from a junction box and goes straight up into the ceiling of the compartment. We have no idea where it goes from there.
- mcheroExplorerMy 93 pace arrow has the transfer switch in the left rear compartment. The shore power cable runs directly into the transfer switch as well as the generator and inverter feed.
The transfer switch on mine just looks like a big black box. I have 50 amp service so the transfer switch is rather large. It has a cover that secured with a number of screws.
Any time I plug in the shore power cable to ANY power source I can hear the click of the relay(s) kicking in.
