Brake box controller

I am wanting to add a brake box to my rig. I have researched them and have came up with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 #90195 and using wiring adapter #3027-p. I have attached a photo of my connector and a pic of the #3027-p. Can anyone confirm that these are a match ? Hate to order the wrong thing. Thx for any help.

I went with the Prodigy 3 brake box. I installed it today but haven't had my trailer hooked up to the coach yet. It was an easy installation, hoping setting it up will be just as easy. Thanks for all of the input.

Good choice; I towed with the old original Prodigy for 13 years and it worked fine.

Those are the corresponding male and female connectors. There is one pin missing in the bottom one. Anyone know what it's for?
Otherwise, they should be very happy together ;)

That is what i was wondering, my connector has 5 slots and the new plug only 4 pins. According to eTrailers this is the correct setup that I would need. I just wanted to get some reassurance thru here.

I would go with eTrailer's advice on this one.

Any suggestions on any other brands I should check out ?

Tekonsha Prodigy is a good controller for the money. Just order the Tekonsha pigtail for your make and model and it should be plug and play. If you have a Camping World around you could go by and actually look at the pigtails as they stock all the Teknosha ones so it should not be too difficult.
