What angle is the BC mounted at? If it's too much, or not enough depending on what it's specs are, it might not be able to read the amount of braking needed??
If the manual slide bar works the brakes fine, then it's not a wiring issue. I have no experience with the Husky BC, but I've used a Prodigy after using a cheap BC before that and it was a world of difference with the Prodigy..
