Brake controller

My understanding of this feature says that when towing, you disable parking assist via a dash button, which is then reset after unhitching...is that right?

If so:

This is a total long shot, but I've heard that leaving the ballmount in the receiver somehow blocks the "parking assist" sensors. If you haven't already done so, you might try removing that bar and trying the system again.

I think he means the Park Assist feature on the Denali, not the trailer....as in the sensors in the rear bumper.

Do you get any messages on the dash about park assist not working? Try un-installing the Tekonsha and see if PA comes bank online?
