Brake fluid may be boiling, as mentioned before; change it.
Your truck master cylinder may be shot, have it checked.
Looks like you have too much trailer for a 1/2 ton truck.
10" trailer brakes are very poor and probably too small for that trailer.
I doubt that the controller is set correctly.
