Yes a bad battery can cause converter to go into overcurrent which could cause AC circuit breaker to trip.
Converter could be bad causing AC circuit breaker to trip
AC circuit breaker could be weak and tripping early
Another circuit could be fed off that breaker and could be cause of breaker tripping (two different devices piggy backed on same breaker)
Check your battery specific gravity.....could be bad cell
Disconnect battery positive cable at converter connection and test converter DC output....should be 13.2V ---14.2V DC. If not converter is bad
Check the load side of AC circuit breaker for piggybacking another device. If it is separate and test each device individually
Check amp draw
Replace AC circuit breaker
