Breaking in new batteries?

Keep them topped off as close to 100% charged for best results. You will get far more cycles by short cycling the batteries . Any time the battery is sitting at less than 100% charged it will start to sulfate. The longer time and lower the charge the more lost capacity.

I would use the 25 amp at anything lower than 90% charged. Top 10% may depend on the charging algorithm in that the 25 amp may shut off too soon. But it depends.
