Breaking in new batteries?
Ok battery gurus,looking for opinions.I just replaced the 6 volt batteries in my golf cart with brand new Trojan T105,s.Is it better to run them down aways and then charge them,or run them down a litt...

So the idea is to get the battery voltage to 15. I was getting this confused with setting the charger to 15 and let it do Bulk and Absorption.
If you do that, then Bulk will end at some SOC depending on the charging amps wrt bank AH size. Might be at 75% SOC or less or more. Battery voltage will not yet be as high as charger set voltage. That will only happen at the end, when the battery is full.
