Around 1990, I did something really stupid with my Chevy S-10 truck camper. I had a rope hanging from the ceiling of the carport and the rear window of the shell open. When I pulled out, the rope caught the handle on the rear window (door) of the shell and shattered the glass into oblivion.
I checked everywhere I could possibly find (this was before the days of public Internet you know). I couldn't find anywhere that would fix it. I had no choice but to purchase a new shell.
Maybe things have changed since then.
