If there is no current flow, nothing will happen. At 14.5 volts, there is likely to be current flow. How much depends on the source. If it is a 1.5 amp charger then the flow will be limited to 1.5 amps or less. If it is an 80 amp, it will be 80 or less. There will be a spark. The spark size will be proportional to current flow. At 14.5 volts, there will be gassing. Hydrogen gas and arcs in close proximity do not mix well. Can you spell Hindenburg?
