Bum information

It seems we have someone that's been around here since, oh, 2008, that is putting out bum information on electrical stuff related to solar panels, their lsc output having a x5 factor for the region they plan to camp in, and hooking up 24V solar panels directly to a 12v battery until the desired voltage is reached. Bum information.

So I am putting up a "Red" alert.

Folks, pay attention. Electricity volts, and amps are not something to be misrepresented, damage can occur to systems.
  • As a professional RV Technician (34 years), I could fill a library with ALL the misinformation and posts that happen on RV forums. There is just no way to regulate it. This is a problem with the Internet. You risk bad info as well as getting a wealth of GOOD information. Doug

    Thanks MEX, good advice.
  • Beware of free advice from your buddies. And by 'free' I mean you fail to do your due diligence.
