Butane lighters

Has anyone got the typical butane lighter used to light the grill etc. to work when more than 1/4 of the fuel is used. I have I don't know how many, of different brands that show 3/4 full but won't light!

I'm talking about the lighters with the window to see the fuel level. My eyes seem to be pretty well calibrated! :R
  • We always pick up BBQ Lighter at Home Depot.

Has a see thru level and lights until fluid is gone.

  • Are you talking about flicking your Bic? You need to remove the child guard over the flint wheel in order to get it to light reliably.

Also, as with many things recently, they have reduced the amount of butane in Bic lighters instead of increasing the price. I use one of these, although you can get them for about 1/2 the HoD price.
