Butyl tape
I am mounting my bunk door back this weekend and the only butyl tape I could find is black. Does anybody know if it will bleed into the white trim? Thanks

- Sure it will. Just take a single edge razor blade to trim it as necessary. You actually want it to squeeze out when you install the door. That insures a water title seal.
- I don't think so. We have a burgundy and white motorhome and the trim is black around the windows and door. It was black butyl tape that is used around the windows and it hasn't bled onto the white.
