So I exchanged my new AGM chassis battery, and the next one is worse than the first one. I hope I can get them to give me my money back, we will see. But it seems that buying an ATM locally is not ...

Not necessarily. Many are fully charged at 12.84V. Depend on the manufacturer.
That came up in the other thread, right? And Mex said no, they really should be over 13? I don't think you replied to him. I thought that meant that you agreed with him, but maybe you were just being polite?
Do you (or anyone here) know what voltage a full charge should be on a Johnson Control battery? I don't think they have a customer-facing helpline, do they? And the guys at the local AutoZone don't even know that AGM are different from wet.
Edit: Well whattaya know, I found a customer service number for them. Not open till Monday of course. Putting it on my list.
